Incident on a Dark Street

The lovely and talented Jen sent us a present! It's a bad Bill movie, and it looks absolutely horrible. How can I tell? First, check out the DVD cover (click to embiggen):



Even though I haven't seen this movie, I'm 100% sure that this particular scene does not appear in it. We will not see a not-Willliam-Shatner body with a photoshopped Captain Kirk head, cut off at the knees, standing in the dark alley that was used for filming "My Name Is Prince" and various Pat Benatar music videos.

That said, I'm sure Bill gives 100% to his really crappy role in a really crappy movie. Look for a review in an upcoming show.

“He is measured and stable,” said Mr. Nimoy, who played Mr. Spock on Star Trek, and who has supported Mr. Obama since they first met about a year and a half ago at a small Los Angeles fund-raiser. “It’s true that he has an intellect that works for him, he handles difficult problems with aplomb. Reliability and stability are very important assets in this race, in these particularly volatile times.”

Mr. Obama, as far as anybody knows, does not greet strangers with a cloven V salute, practice debilitating neck pinches, bleed green or have a constitutional incapacity to fib. I think they're on to something here, except OH MY GOD HOW INSULTING TO KIRK! McCain looks a TROLL! He is in no way Kirk-like. I think he's more like Matt Decker after he went berserk. How about Kirk/Obama? Obama/Shatner? You know if Bill was running there's no way they'd lose because Bill Doesn't! Like! To Lose!

The best part, though, is this comment below the article:

Bill's favorite muffins (sort of)

Willam Shatner's Banana Nut Bread

12 - 15 muffins or 1 loaf

Ingredients

2/3 cup honey
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
1 tablespoon yogurt
3 bananas
1-1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1-3/4 cups whole wheat flour
1/4 cup wheat bran
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup nuts

Directions

1: Cream together honey, butter, eggs and yogurt.

2: Mash bananas well with fork, stir in 1/2 tsp (2ml) baking soda and set aside.

3: Mix together flour, bran, salt and remaining mixture. Add bananas, mix thoroughly.

4: Stir in nuts. Pour into buttered 9x5 in (2litre) loaf pan.

5: Bake in 350F (180C) oven for 1 hour or until tester inserted in centre comes out clean.

6: Remove from pan and cool on rack. Makes 1 loaf.
