Election 2012

Über-geek joke alert!

I thought this was hilarious. Christian sent it to Logan, who didn't get it, who sent it to me, and I cracked up. One of my favorute TNG eps.

Incident on a Dark Street

The lovely and talented Jen sent us a present! It's a bad Bill movie, and it looks absolutely horrible. How can I tell? First, check out the DVD cover (click to embiggen):

Even though I haven't seen this movie, I'm 100% sure that this particular scene does not appear in it. We will not see a not-Willliam-Shatner body with a photoshopped Captain Kirk head, cut off at the knees, standing in the dark alley that was used for filming "My Name Is Prince" and various Pat Benatar music videos.

Then you turn it over to see how Bill really looks in the movie:

Ack! The mustache! It burns us!

That said, I'm sure Bill gives 100% to his really crappy role in a really crappy movie. Look for a review in an upcoming show.

Thanks, Jen!

Uhura Vamps It Up

I've never seen this picture before and I don't think I've ever seen one like it before.

Found on this blog which, contrary to its name, is not about scrapbooking. Although there probably is something out there about Star Trek scrapbooking.

Still Goin' Strong

A photo of Nimoy, Kelley and Shatner recording (or just laughing at) Star Trek: The Animated Series.
And hot damn, is Shatner in character or what!

I refer of course to the prominent EVE. What a pro.

Hello? Continuity?

It's a plasma conduit! No, it's a planter! No, it's a plasma conduit!

New Trek movie trailer up

You can watch the lovely hi-rez version at Apple. In the meantime, here's the crummy YouTube one:

I could do without Young Kirk, but the rest is cool.

Logan has more screencaps, including this one of Kirk getting some action:

Thanks to Xtian for the cap!

Bill on Bill

This is *fascinating*! A very low-key Bill talks about himself, apparently just before they started filming STV. One thing's for sure: he does get an A for Effort.

Thanks, Mr. Atoz!
