Welcome back! I listened to today's show while driving through the countryside outside of Istanbul today. Just wanted to let you know that I found the segment on the tech magazine from 1996 very funny. When I got my first modem in 1994 here in Turkey, I had to call a Compuserve server in France to hook up to the US. Very expensive, so not much surfing, just e-mails, until a local company started providing service. Even then, we had metered service for about ten years, so surfing was mostly for necessity only and YES graphics in this setup were expensive, it's a giant graphic and the meter is running...Now we have ADSL at $50 a month, flat fee. Whew.
So thanks for the show today. It was great :)

Hate to burst your bubble but dude named Anton Yelchin has been cast as Chekov officially so a muppet is in the cast... Can't explain the actor ages, timeline, premise of a Romulan being a/the villain before they'd even seen one, etc. Not rushing out to get a ticket (except for Menagerie~lol)yet.
Loved the podcast--but I NEED graphics-- especially KIRK graphics!
